Joomla is a content management system (CMS) for creating websites. A CMS system makes it easy for a user to make changes to a site without requiring programming skills. Joomla uses a Hit Counter to measure the popularity of website pages. Hit counters record one hit for every time a page is viewed. A hit counter is set up on a default basis for each page or article created in Joomla. The hit count for each Web page can be viewed by going into the administration section of the Joomla site.
