Chatroulette is a networking applet online that allows you to randomly connect with people for chat via webcam. This popular chat program only works when you have your own webcam connected, so you're not connected with random faceless people as well. Sometimes you may want to capture your video chat with someone in which you find interest. This isn't difficult when you use your own webcam on the Chatroulette program.

Select a capturing software for taking screenshots and video clips of your computer's screen. Premium software for capturing also captures video directly from your webcam. Ordinarily, a new webcam comes with its own stock software that has this capability.
Initiate a Chatroulette session. Use the "Skip" button until you find someone you want to video chat with. With your webcam plugged into the computer, a box will immediately popup beneath the video of the other chatter. This is your window and you should see yourself immediately.
Open your webcam's software or the video capturing software you have selected in a different window while you are still in a Chatroulette session. Select the "Capture," "Record," or other similar button that indicates the necessary function from the webcam's software applet.
Enjoy your chat session on Chatroulette while your software records the video in the background. This comes in handy if you're an entertainer or if you're collecting evidence. Once you close your Chatroulette session, stop the capture and save it to your computer.
