How to Find Out How Many People Have Viewed My eBay Item

Updated March 23, 2017

If you have listed an item for sale on eBay, chances are you want to know how many people have looked at your item's page. Knowing how many people have viewed your listing helps you determine the sales prospect for your item. For example, if there are a high number of page views without any bids, then you may want to consider revising your item's page and improving its description and photos. However, if there are not many page views then you may need to improve the listing's title. You can add a counter to your item's page to help you determine the amount of page views.

Open your Web browser and navigate to eBay.

Click the "Sign In" link. Enter your eBay User ID and password and click the "Sign In" button.

Click the "My eBay" link at the top of the page.

Click the "All Selling" link under the "Sell" section in the Summary column on the left side of the page.

Click "Revise" in the "Actions" drop-down menu for the item you have listed.

Navigate to the "Describe the Item You're Selling" section of the form and locate the "Visitor Counter" section.

Click the drop-down menu and choose the type of counter you want to add to your listing.

Click the "Continue" button.

Click the "Submit Revisions" button.
