The Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4700 transfer kit is an important maintenance component of the printer. It is designed to last around 120,000 prints and once it nears the end of it's useful life, the printer will display the error message, "Replace transfer kit." The kit consists of the transfer belt (ETB) which is essential to transferring toner to the print media. Any defects in the transfer belt will result in print quality problems.
