Whenever an Adobe product has an update available for download, a small icon will appear on your Mac's menu bar to let you know. This can be an annoying feature, especially if you have no need or desire to download and install the updates. Unfortunately, you can't just hold down the "Command" button and drag it off of the menu bar as you can with other icons, you actually have to go into the updater program itself and tell it not to bother you anymore.

Select the "Preferences" option in the window.
Click the "Notify Me of New Updates in the Menu Bar" option to un-select it.
Click the "Done" button to exit the updater. The icon will now remove itself from your menu bar.
