Super Woman is a character from DC comics that had a variety of forms. The original Super Woman was Lois Lane. She first appeared in 1947. Since then there have been several reincarnations and spin offs, such as Super Girl. Her look has changed over the years, but everyone can recognise her original outfit debuted in 1947 by Lois Lane. This classic costume uses red, blue and gold just like Superman himself.

Instructions

  1. 1

Draw the shield shape onto the yellow felt. Make the shield about 12 inches high and 8 inches wide. Cut out the shape. Draw an "S" onto red felt to fit inside the shield. The "S" should take up most of the space. Cut out a red border about 1/2 inch thick to go around the outside edges of the shield. Glue the pieces together with craft glue.

  2. 2

Glue the shield to the middle of the tank top. Allow the glue to dry overnight. If you are in a hurry, you can use hot glue instead, which sets in about five minutes.

  3. 3

Cut out a four-foot-long and three-foot-wide cape from the red fabric.

  4. 4

Put on the blue leggings and blue tank top. Pull the blue mini skirt over the leggings and tuck the tank top into the skirt. Cinch your waist with a gold belt.

  5. 5

Pin the red cape to your shoulders. Wear the red shoes and gloves. Wear your hair in a ponytail, or half up and half down.
