Tips and warnings

  • Use Microsoft Reader software to buy and download eBooks from the Microsoft Reader store. You can also open eBooks on the computer by clicking "File" and "Open" from the Microsoft Reader program menu.
  • Microsoft Reader opens eBook files with the ".lit" file extension but doesn't open ".pdf" eBook files. To open ".pdf" files use the free Adobe Reader software that comes pre-installed on most computers.
