Skype is a voice communication and chat program available for a variety of operating systems. It allows users to communicate using webcams, microphones and traditional text chat. Skype even has premium services, such as phone numbers and call forwarding. If you no longer want your login information used every time you start Skype, you can remove it. This is particularly useful when multiple people use the computer Skype is installed on; you don't want anyone else using your account.
