Microsoft Outlook was built with automatic formatting options that are applied to your e-mail message when you are composing it. Although Outlook 2010 and Outlook 2007 do not allow you to set an automatic formatting option for capitalising the first letter in every line, Outlook 2003 does. If this option is turned on in your version of Outlook 2003, you can turn it off by navigating to the appropriate menu.
