The online game World of Warcraft is set in the fictional world of Azeroth, a world with four major land masses, each divided into many smaller zones. Although players have a variety of transportation modes provided, long-distance travel in World of Warcraft can be time consuming. Because game masters -- known as GMs -- are responsible for efficiently assisting players and responding to problems across the entire game world, they have the ability to teleport directly to any location in the game by using map coordinates, player or object names.
