How to Print Hotmail Email

The print command has been ingrained into many people: either press "Crtl" + "P" or click "File," then "Print" in the program's toolbar. It's not quite so easy to print e-mails in Hotmail. Sure, good old "Crtl" + "P" still prints, but it prints the entire Web page -- navigation pane and options toolbar included -- rather than the email itself. The ability to print just the basic e-mail still exists in Hotmail, but it takes a few extra mouse clicks.

Log into your Hotmail account and open your inbox.

Check the box to the left of any e-mail you want to print.

Click the printer icon in the list of options over the inbox. A new window opens showing only the content of the e-mails -- including the sender, recipient and subject -- and a Print dialogue box opens.

Click "OK" on the Print dialogue box. The Hotmail e-mails you've checked print.

Log into your Hotmail account and open your inbox.

Click on an e-mail's subject to open it in the main pane.

Click the printer icon in the list of options at the top of the message. A new window opens showing only the content of the email -- including the sender, recipient and subject -- and a Print dialogue box opens.

Click "OK" on the Print dialogue box.
