The Skype communication service allows you to communicate with people all over the world via instant messages, voice calls, or face to face webcam chats. Skype saves any instant messages you send in your chat history so that you'll be able to look at them later. If you don't want to look at them again, you'll need to remove them. Unfortunately, Skype does not offer a way to clear the chat history of one individual contact. Instead, you will have to delete all of your instant messaging history at once.
