When doing your hair for a pirate costume, you should consider what kind of image you are trying to portray. The looks can range from a sexy pirate wench to the authentic Jack Sparrow pirate-look of unkempt hair. This can be easily accomplished by making mock dreadlocks. Since you will only be wearing these for a night, it is important not to rat the hair. This will also makes the dreadlock removal much easier. The look can be topped of by placing a do-rag or pirate hat around the hair.
