Updated July 20, 2017

Kentucky Fried Chicken was originally founded in 1930 and expanded nationwide starting in 1952. Most everyone loves this old favourite. Kentucky Fried Chicken is tender and juicy and a treat to eat. If you find yourself with leftover KFC, you might be wondering how to reheat it. The best way to reheat KFC is in the oven. However, it can also be reheated in your microwave.

Preheat the oven to 177 degrees Celsius.

Place the Kentucky Fried Chicken on a baking tray lined with aluminium foil. A light coating of non-stick cooking spray will keep the chicken from sticking to the foil.

Place the baking tray on the rack near the top of the oven, this will help the chicken re-crisp. Bake for 15 minutes.

Place the Kentucky Fried Chicken on a microwave safe plate lined with a paper towel.

Cover the chicken with a paper towel. The paper towels will help absorb moisture and help keep the microwave free of spatter.

Microwave on high for one to two minutes for one piece of chicken, three minutes for two pieces of chicken. Remove the chicken from the microwave and let cool for one minute before eating.
