How to Sync the Documents Folder With Evernote

The Evernote desktop application can be quickly configured to watch folders on your computer for new documents and automatically upload them to your Evernote account. By configuring a folder-sync service, you can ensure that you have access to your most important documents from anywhere, including online through the Evernote Web interface or through your mobile device using the Evernote application available for both the iPhone and Android.

    Click "Start," type "Evernote" into the search box at the bottom of the menu and then press "Enter."

    Click "File" and select "Import," then "File Import Wizard."

    Click "Next" to begin the wizard.

    Click the "Browse" button and select "Documents" as the source folder, then click "OK."

    Click the check box beside "Include subfolders" if you wish to sync all files within the Documents folder.

    Select the "Destination Notebook" from the drop-down menu to choose which notebook files from the Documents folder are synced to and then click "Next."

    Click the radio button beside "Watch folder for changes and import files automatically" and then click "Finish." Evernote will automatically sync new documents to your Evernote account any time the application is running.
