How to Get the Blade of Awe in "DragonFable"

One of the most sought after weapons in "DragonFable" is the Blade of Awe. Not only does it have one of the most powerful base attacks of any weapon in the game, but it can also be traded with Valencia for any of the other Weapons of Awe -- none of which can be obtained in any other way. In addition, any time you attack using the Blade, there is a chance it will perform one of six devastating special attacks: summoning a Guardian Dragon, levelling your enemies with an Awe Blast, cleaving them with the Spiral Carve, draining their health with the Health Vampire move, depleting their magic with the Mana Vampire move or simply killing them outright with Powerword Die. The catch is that you cannot just pick up the Blade of Awe; instead, you must find its pieces and have Valencia forge them together. You can find the pieces in one of two places.

Instructions

    Crossroads

  1. 1

Level up your character to level thirty. To level up, engage in battle with monsters and complete quests to gain experience points. When you collect the necessary experience points, you will gain the next level. Continue this process until you reach level thirty.

  2. 2

Gain access to the Crossroads. There are two methods for doing this. First, you can make your character become a guardian. Guardians have access to the Crossroads at will. The only way to become a guardian is to register with Artix's other online game, "AdventureQuest," and complete the quest in that game to become a guardian. At that point, you can update your "DragonFable" character to become a guardian as well. Alternately, players can purchase day passes from Valencia in Battleon.

  3. 3

Travel to the location called "Somewhere" in the Crossroads. Click the "Travel Map" button on your main screen and select "Crossroads". Once the Crossroads Map comes up, click on the site marked "Somewhere".

  4. 4

At Somewhere, you will be offered a series of fights, followed by a boss fight. You must fight these and win.

  5. 5

Continue going to Somewhere until you engage in a boss fight against a Rare Treasure Chest. As these are rare enemies, it may take several trips to find one. Once you defeat the Rare Treasure Chest, it will drop one of the five piece of The Blade of Awe. These pieces are the Stonewrit, Handle, Hilt, Blade and Runes.

  6. 6

Continue travelling to the Crossroads until you've managed to defeat five Rare Treasure Chests and collected all five pieces of the Blade.

  7. 7

Take the pieces to Valencia in Battleon. He will forge The Blade of Awe from the pieces for you. You can find Battleon by opening the "Travel Map" button on your main screen and selecting "Battleon".

    BattleOn

  1. 1

Level up your character to level thirty (see step 1 above).

  2. 2

Click the "Battle Monsters" button available in the city of Battleon. When you log on, you will always start in Battleon, so simply log into your account to get there. If you are already playing, click the "Travel Map" button on your main screen and choose "Battleon".

  3. 3

    Defeat the monster that appears.

  4. 4

Continue defeating monsters using the "Battle Monsters" button until a Rare Treasure Chest appears.

  5. 5

Defeat the Rare Treasure Chest. When you defeat it, the Rare Treasure Chest will drop one of the five piece of The Blade of Awe: the Stonewrit, Handle, Hilt, Blade and Runes.

  6. 6

Continue defeating monsters using the "Battle Monsters" button until you've defeated five Rare Treasure Chests. This will take a considerable amount of time, as the Rare Treasure Chest is a rare monster that appears infrequently.

  7. 7

Take the pieces to Valencia in Battleon. He will forge The Blade of Awe from the pieces for you. You can find Battleon by opening the "Travel Map" button on your main screen and selecting "Battleon".
