Utilise the well-known X and O pattern to make a bracelet meaning hugs and kisses. Use beads in the shapes of the letters, or beads with the letters printed on them. Because of the hundreds of styles of beads, you can make the bracelet look anyway you want. For example, use black wooden block beads with the letters painted on them and orange and red seed beads to create a contrasting pattern. Give the bracelet as a gift or wear it yourself.

- X-shaped beads
- O-shaped beads
Cut a piece of string long enough to go around the recipient's wrist. Tie one part of the jewellery clasp to one end of the string.
Thread the open end of the string through the eye of a needle. Slip two to four seed beads through the needle and down the string to the jewellery clasp. Slide a X or O bead through the needle and push it to meet the seed beads. Slide on three or four seed beads, and then the other letter. Add three or four more beads, and then next letter. Repeat the pattern, alternating between X's and O's until the bracelet string is almost full.
Tie the other end of the jewellery clasp onto the end of the string. Cut off any extra string with the scissors.
