If you're looking to sell shoes or high-end fashion accessories through your website or e-mail subscribers list, Aldo's brand is well-known. Aldo doesn't have a direct affiliate program, but you can become an affiliate for Aldo's product line by working through a retailer that carries Aldo-branded goods such as Zappos or Amazon. Among affiliate programs for retailers carrying Aldo-branded goods, Zappos offers the highest commission rate at 12 per cent of all referred sales.

Instructions

  1. 1

Navigate to the Commission Junction (CJ) website (see Resources). CJ is an affiliate network that administers Zappos' affiliate program, so to become an affiliate of Zappos and sell Aldo-branded goods, you must first register an account through CJ.

  2. 2

Place your mouse over the "Publishers" button located toward the top of the page and wait for a menu to drop down. Within that menu, select the "Getting Started" button.

  3. 3

Click on the green "Join Now" button that appears on the right side of the page. This will take you to the publisher application page.

  4. 4

Complete part one of the publisher application. Select your preferred interface language as well as your country and functional currency. Note that you cannot change your currency settings later on. Click on the "Next" button at the bottom of the page.

  5. 5

Complete part two of the publisher application. Read through the service agreement and click on the "Accept" button at the bottom of the agreement. Select the checkboxes to indicate that you accept CJ's code of conduct and privacy policy. Select the checkbox to indicate that you are at least 18 years old. Fill out the requested information for your website and then fill out your contact, company and payment information. Click on the "Accept Terms" button at the bottom of the page to complete your publisher application.

  6. 6

Select the tab marked "Get Links" at the top of your account page.

  7. 7

Enter the word "Zappos" in the search box at the top of the page and click the "Find" button.

  8. 8

Select the checkbox next to Zappos.com in the list of program results that appears. Click on the button directly above the search results marked "Apply to Program."

  9. 9

Select the blue link marked "March 2011" as of April 2011 in the window that appears to bring up Zappos' terms and conditions. Scroll down through the page of terms and conditions and click the "Accept" button and then select the button marked "Continue." Select the "Close" button to submit your application to become an affiliate of Zappos.

  10. 10

Wait for Zappos to approve your application to become an affiliate. If you are accepted as an affiliate, you will be able to sell Aldo-branded goods through Zappos' affiliate program.
