When you move the location of your Lexmark X4690 printer and need to connect to a new wireless network, or if there are multiple wireless networks available in one location and you desire to switch which network the printer connects to, you will need to reconfigure the printer's network settings using the X4690's software you installed on your computer. The software will take you through the same steps it did when you installed the printer on the original wireless network.

Click the tab labelled "Tools" and then the button labelled "Lexmark Wireless Setup Utility." Plug the USB cable into the printer and the computer when the software prompts.
Follow the instructions in the wireless set-up utility window. Input the new network's information, including the security code, when the software asks. Remove the USB cable from the X4690 and the computer only when the software directs.
