A fan of anime and manga will enjoy drawing characters and scenes from the Naruto comic series. The ninja Sasuke Uchiha is a character that will give you a bit of a challenge to draw. The spiky hair and scowling or serious face can be hand drawn when you have a picture to refer to during each step of the drawing process. You can add the shirt collar and the mark on his neck after you have honed the details of Sasuke's face.

Things you need
- Copy or drawing paper
- Art eraser
Look at a drawing or picture of the image of Sasuke for a guide as you draw the oval outline shape of a head. Draw a simple vertical horizontal line down the centre of the facial area of the outline. Draw a horizontal line across the top of the vertical line in the top eyelid area of the face.
Sketch in the eyes, nose and mouth using the vertical line as a guide on the face. Hold your drawing up to make sure that the dimensions are correct. Are the eyes, nose and mouth the correct sizes to match one another on the face?
Gently erase the vertical and horizontal guidelines that are visible around the facial features.
Draw the eyebrows above the eyes.
If the ears will be visible in the drawing, sketch the top of the lobes to line up with the eyebrow line. Line up the bottom of the ear lobe with Sasuke's nose as seen in many of the artistic pictures of the character.
Sketch in the outline of the hair draping over the side of Sasuke's face. Outline the points in the hair that rise out from the back of his head.
Add details to the face. Draw in the eyelids to define the shape of the eyes. Gently rub the side of the pencil lead against the paper to create shadowing under the edge of the eyebrows, nose and mouth.
Draw a straight line on either side of the head to outline Sasuke's neck. Add two more lines to indicate the throat area.
