A flashing green light on the centre button of your Xbox 360 console is an indication that your disc tray has become stuck and won't open. This will prevent you from removing the disc from the tray. However, you can manually open the disc tray yourself with the use of a paper clip. The task should only be attempted if you fully understand what you are doing as you do not wish to cause further damage to your Xbox.

Turn off your Xbox 360 and remove the power cable from both the back of your console and the wall.
Take hold of the paper clip and uncoil it so that it is now a flat piece of wire.
Locate the yellow sticker behind the air vents. These can be found on the left-hand side of the console.
Press the paper clip in to the disc tray eject hole that is found slightly above the yellow sticker.
Place your hands around the slightly opened disc tray and pull it toward you to open it fully. Plug the power cable back into the wall and the 360. Press the disc eject button on the left-hand side of the console face to close the tray. Press the button again and the tray should now open correctly.
