DWG is a type of a file used to store two- and three-dimensional design data. DOC files are word-processing documents associated with Microsoft Word. Users may wish to convert a DWG file to a DOC file to make it easier to insert into another DOC file. Using file-converter programs, a DWG file can be easily converted into a DOC file.

    Download and install the DWG to PDF Converter (see "References" below).

    Open the DWG to PDF Converter. Click "Add." Select the DWG file you wish to convert and click "Next." The DWG will be converted into a PDF file.

    Download and install the PDF to Word Converter (see "References" below).

  4. 4

    Open the PDF to Word Converter. Click "Add File." Select and open the PDF file you created in Step 2. Click "Convert."
