Marquis M. Converse created a brand image with his famous Chuck Taylor Converse shoes. With the help of professional basketball, the Converse brand solidified its stake in the shoe industry by introducing the Converse All-Star shoe, a shoe designed for athletes. Today, the Converse brand remains a popular among men, woman and athletes. However, due to their irregular sizing, consumers tend to purchase the wrong sizes.

  1. 1

Place your foot into the foot measuring device.

  2. 2

Slide the top railing of the device so that it touches your big toe. Read the measurements and make note of your foot size.

  3. 3

Use the measurements to determine your Converse size. Converse shoes do not use 1/2-inch measurements, so if your foot is 9 1/2 inches in length, you would need to purchase the next size bigger which is size 10. Purchase a shoe size bigger only if your foot measures above the 1/2-inch mark, such as 9 5/8th inches.
