How to Change Gaia Profile Text Colors

Updated February 21, 2017

Changing Gaia profile text colours is a great way to show off and add some personalisation to your profile. Gaia is an online game that allows you to customise your profile, avatar, aquarium and more. The object of the game is to gather gold, then splurge it on items to dress up your avatar. It is all about individuality and expressing yourself in every way possible. You can add the colour you like on your Gaia profile by following a few instructions.

Go to your Gaia profile. Find "Profile Options" on the upper-right corner of the black toolbar. Click on the link. You will arrive at the "Profile Preferences" page.

Choose the colour of font you want. You will use hex colours. A link to a website with all hex colours is listed in the Resources section.

Pick a section to change the text colours. Choose the profile area, bar, details, about, friends, journal, comments, multimedia or signature. You can choose more than one option.

Enter the code "#section_name { colour: #FFFFFF; }" into the "Theme Override" text box in "Profile Preferences." Replace "section_name" with the name of the section you picked. Change the hex colour code "#FFFFFF" with the hex colour code of your choice. For example, if you wanted to change the details colour to orange, you will list the code as "#details { colour: ##FF3300; }"

Scroll to the bottom of the "Profile Preferences" page and click "Save All Changes."
