Apple's iPhone smartphone device comes with the "Contacts" application preinstalled. This application organises the contacts stored on your iPhone device and lets you quickly navigate through your contact information. The application does not, however, let you organise contacts into groups directly on the iPhone. If you want to organise contacts into groups, you will need to sync your contacts with a computer and place the contacts into groups with the computer's contact application.
