How to Reset a Barring Password for Orange

Updated March 23, 2017

Orange is a telecommunications provider based in the U.K. that offers a variety of cellphones and wireless plans, including prepaid service. If you own an Orange phone, you may have the option to enable call barring. Call barring allows you to restrict incoming and outgoing calls other than emergency numbers. If you need to reset the barring password for your phone, you can do so by editing your call barring settings.

Press the "Call" button on your phone followed by "Menu."

Select "Options" followed by "Call Barring."

Press the "Menu" key and select the option "Change Password." Enter your current password into the appropriate field, and then enter your new password into the appropriate field.

Confirm the change by re-entering your new password when prompted to do so. Select "Save" to update your call barring password.
