How to Enable Wi-Fi for an Asus Netbook

Updated March 23, 2017

A netbook is a small laptop computer unequipped with a CD-ROM drive. Netbooks are perfect for users looking for basic computing power and maximum portability. ASUS-brand netbooks provide the same advantages. They also make it easy to enable Wi-Fi wherever your work may take you. All ASUS netbook models, no matter which operating system they come installed with, have a series of hotkeys that can directly enable Wi-Fi on your machine.

Power on your ASUS netbook.

Press and hold down the key marked "Fn."

Press the "F" key with the wireless antenna icon on it to enable Wi-Fi. On most ASUS models, this is the "F2" key.
