Roxio, a division of the Rovi Corporation, specialises in producing digital entertainment technology. The Roxio Video Capture USB is a plug-in device used to convert analogue video and audio signals into digital information that a computer can process. Most TV sets do not come equipped with video output connectors. Therefore, to watch TV on a computer through a Roxio Video Capture USB, the TV must be hooked up to some kind of set-top box equipped with output connectors. A cable box, satellite receiver, digital converter box and DVD recorder are all forms of set-top boxes.
