The Chevrolet Caprice's interior door panel must be removed to gain access to the vehicle's window regulator or the door's locking mechanism. The 1991 to 1996 Caprice's inside door panels are held to the vehicle by several black fasteners that can be removed with a flathead screwdriver. To remove the door panel, not only will the fasteners need to be removed, but several of the door's components will have to be removed as well, such as the window crank handle and the armrest.
