Insert the Pinnacle InstantDVD Recorder software CD into your computer CD/DVD drive; then follow the on-screen instructions to install the program to your computer. Once the application is installed, double-click the InstantDVD icon on your computer to launch the program.
Plug the USB connection cable from the Dazzle DVD Recorder into an available USB port on your computer. The InstantDVD application will automatically detect the device connected to the computer.
Plug the S-Video cable into the "S-Video" port in the front of the Dazzle recorder; then plug the other end into the "S-Video" port on your video capture or video viewing component (TV, DVD player, camcorder, etc.).
Plug the Right/Left Audio cable into the "Right/Left Audio" ports in the front of the Dazzle recorder; then plug the other end into the "Right/Left Audio" ports on your video capture or video viewing component (TV, DVD player, camcorder, etc.). The "Right/Left Audio cables are colour-coded. Plug the corresponding colour cable into the corresponding colour port on the component.
