Windows 7 was released by Microsoft in 2009 and is the most popular version of Windows released as of the publication date. Like any other operating system, occasionally a Windows system becomes cluttered and needs to be reinstalled to fix all of the problems and restore the system to a like-new condition. You can reinstall Windows 7, and restore the files and settings of the user accounts on the computer by first backing up the contents with the built-in Windows Easy Transfer.
