The Apple iPhone 3GS offers you the ability to make emergency calls when your iPhone is not yet activated, is protected by a password or if it is overheating. The screen will display the phone's keypad along with a scroll box that scrolls "Emergency Call" in multiple languages. When your iPhone displays this screen, you can only dial valid emergency numbers, such as 911. If you have entered this screen by error, you can return to your iPhone's home screen with little effort.
