How to Unfollow Everybody on Twitter
You only need a few clicks to "unfollow" a person on Twitter. (Jupiterimages/ Images)

When you want to stop following everybody you've been following on Twitter, you may have your work cut out for you: Each individual, group or organisation must be "unfollowed," one at a time. Even so, the process is far from odious, involving but two steps to begin the process and two steps to "unfollow" each group, organisation or individual you wish to stop following. Once you have repeated the process for each, you're still free to follow whomever you please.

  1. 1

Log into Click on the "Following" tab below your Twitter username.

  2. 2

Hover over the green button with white check mark located to the right of the individual you are following and the button will turn red, with a white 'X'.

  3. 3

Clicking this red button with a white "X" will unfollow the person. Repeat the process until all people you have been following have been unfollowed.
