Plug the mini USB end of the supplied USB cable into the USB port on the bottom of the Philips GoGear Vibe.
Connect the standard USB end of the USB cable into a USB port on your computer. Don't plug the cable into a low-power USB port, such as the ones found on a keyboard. This type of USB port will not provide enough power to charge the Philips GoGear Vibe.
Turn on your computer to start charging the MP3 player. The device will not charge if the computer is turned off. The battery icon on the screen will show animated bars moving within the icon as the battery charges.
Unplug the USB cable from the Philips GoGear Vibe when the battery icon animation stops and a lightning bolt appears in the icon. The battery is fully charged when the lightning bolt appears.
