A factory reset wipes out any personal settings or passwords installed. This will return the router to its original settings when it left the factory. A regular reset is performed when there are basic connection issues, allowing the router to re-sync with other devices. The ASUS RT-N16 wireless router comes with its own CPU. This multifunctional router works as storage, a media server and a print server. It has three external antennas and wireless N technology and weighs barely over one pound.
