Valentine's Day is the one day a year in which open confessions of admiration, love and romance are the "norm." Thus, it is an ideal opportunity to tell your secret crush how you really feel about him, or, at the very least, to give him a Valentine card. There are many possible ways of giving your secret crush a Valentine, depending on how forward you wish to be. Though the task may seem daunting, remember you can tailor it according to your comfort level.
Ask yourself whether you wish to reveal your feelings to your secret crush on Valentine's Day or whether you want your feelings to remain a secret. If you want to tell him how you feel, write it down in the card or plan to tell him in person. If you do not wish to be so upfront, simply write a generic message such as "Happy Valentine's Day."
Deliver the Valentine's Day card to your crush in person if you do not wish to be more discreet. Choose a time in which she is by herself and not preoccupied. For example, pull her aside during lunchtime, recess or after school gets out on Valentine's Day. Tell her you have a valentine for her and, if you want to, explain how you feel about her.
Leave the card somewhere you know your crush will find it if you do not wish to hand-deliver it. Place it on his desk or in his cubbyhole when he is not looking. Keep your eyes on the Valentine's Day card from a distance to make sure he eventually sees it.
Give the Valentine to a friend you trust and ask her to deliver it to your crush if you do not wish to leave it unattended or to hand-deliver it. However, be aware that having someone else deliver the Valentine may make you appear cowardly. If you truly like the girl, it may be worth taking a risk and giving her the valentine in person.
