Place the four edible printer ink cartridges into the computer printer where the printer ink would normally go.
Load a frosting sheet into the printer the way you would regular printer paper, with the frosted side facing up. Print an image from your computer as you would normally. Remove the icing sheet carefully from the printer. Place the sheet in a cool, safe location to dry for 15 minutes.
Remove the backing carefully from the frosting sheet. Hold the sheet by the ends and carefully position it over the top of the frosted cake. Press the middle of the sheet onto the cake first, then use your fingers to gently smooth out the sheet to the ends. Rub away any wrinkles that may form.
