Microsoft Word 2010 allows you to convert table data in a chart or graph using various options. Tables with comparative data work well as pie charts. This format often is used to show the differences between the per cent of items. Once the table has been converted to a pie chart, you can edit it to meet your preferences.

    Open the Microsoft Word 2010 application on your computer and click the "Microsoft Office" button from the top toolbar menu.

    Click the "Open" option and select the Word file containing the table you want to convert. Click the "Open" button.

    Use your mouse to highlight the entire table in the Word document that you want to convert. Click the "Insert" tab and then click the "Chart" option.

    Click the "Pie Chart" option from the "Insert Chart" dialogue box that appears on the screen. Select the pie chart format you want to use.

    Click the "OK" button. The table will be converted into the pie chart format. Click the "Microsoft Office" button and the "Save" option to save all of your changes.
