Tumblr's "Ask" feature lets you interact with your fellow Tumblr users and include those interactions as posts on your Tumblelog. Once you turn on the ask feature for your Tumblr account, you can receive messages in your inbox from anyone who has a Tumblr account. When you publish the answer to a question, the post includes the avatar of the person who asked and a link to her or her Tumblelog. As of 2011, there is no way to answer a question without publishing it to your Tumblelog.
