3ABN (Three Angels Broadcasting Network) is a 24-hour Christian programming channel ad network. The network promotes itself as the second largest Christian network in North America. Some satellite providers, like Dish Network, carry the 3ABN channel as part of its regular programming package. However, for many FTA (free-to-air) satellite systems, receiving 3ABN requires some installation adjustments.

    Press the "Setup" or "Menu" button on the satellite receiver remote control, then use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to scroll to the "System Setting" option. Press the "OK" button.

    Use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to scroll to "Default Setting," then press the "OK" button. The screen should display a message that states something like: "Warning: This will reset all settings." Press the "OK" button.

    Use the "Up/Down" arrow buttons to scroll to "TP Frequency" option, then enter the number "11842" and select the "Polarization" option.

    Use the "Up/Down" button to scroll to the "Symbol Rate" option, then enter the numbers "22000."

    Loosen the lateral adjustment bolt on your main satellite dish assembly to prepare it for adjusting the position.

    Use the "Up/Down" button on the remote to scroll to "Signal Strength," then "Start Search." Press the "OK" button.

    Slowly move the dish assembly left or right until the signal strength on the Search display shows "Strong," then tighten the adjustment bolt on the assembly to hold the dish in place in that position.
