Things you need
- Craft paper
- Card stock (8.5x11)
- Archival glue
- Paint pens
Place a piece of card stock in the colour of your choice on your work space. Make sure the card stock is placed horizontally on the work space.
Fold the card stock in half. This is your card base.
Cut a heart shape from the craft paper of your choice. Glue the heart onto the front of the card.
Draw a border around the heart with a metallic paint pen in gold or silver.
Write "Happy Birthday!" above the heart with a paint pen. Below the heart write: "What I Like/Love About You..."
Cut out photos of you and your boyfriend with a pair of scissors, and glue them on the inside of the card. Think of the inside of the card as a photo album or scrapbook. Use paint pens to write captions for the photos or prose about memories you have of times you've spent together.
Add more pages to your birthday card by folding one or two more pieces of card stock in half. Decorate the card stock pages using the paint pens and more photos so that you have a full photo album of memories.
Collapse the pages one inside the other to form a booklet. Use a stapler to place two or three staples down the binding of the booklet.
