  1. 1

Wipe the disc using a lint-free cloth to remove any dust particles.

  2. 2

Apply a small amount of toothpaste to a soft cloth and, starting at the centre of the disc and working your way to the edge, rub the toothpaste onto the disc in gentle circles. Apply more toothpaste as needed until the disc is covered with a thin film.

  3. 3

Wipe the toothpaste off the disc using a cloth lightly dampened with lukewarm water.

  4. 4

Pat the disc dry using a lint-free cloth. Be sure no water or toothpaste remains on the disc.

Repeat the process as needed if scratches remain on the disc.
