DIY Ten Commandment Tablets
Lead your children in an art project based on the Ten Commandments of the Bible. ( Images)

If you are trying to teach your children about the Ten Commandments of the Old Testament, then lead them in an easy, quick craft that requires only a few simple art supplies that you probably already have around your house. You can use free online templates for a Ten Commandments craft, or you can draw the tablets freestyle. Be creative.

Things you need

  • Computer
  • Printer
  • Computer paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons or markers

    Print out the free Ten Commandments craft templates from the craft website DLTK (see Resources below) to make the tablets and also a Moses figure.

    Cut out the templates for the tablets and Moses, using a pair of scissors.

    Glue the correctly assembled template parts onto a piece of computer paper.

  4. 4

    Write a favourite commandment--or a commandment that you would like to remember more often--somewhere on the paper.

    Draw two tablets freestyle on two pieces of computer paper.

  2. 2

    Colour the tablets using markers or crayons of your choice.

  3. 3

    Write the Ten Commandments on the two tablets and cut the tablets out with a scissors.
