The Explorer 2200 is a digital cable receiver distributed with standard home cable subscriptions from Comcast. The receiver features a parental lock that blocks unsuitable content from underage children. Unblocking content can be done by entering a four-digit PIN code. Unlocking the Explorer 2200, however, removes the parental controls and opens all channels for viewing without the need for the PIN.
