Mozilla Firefox's default home page is the Mozilla Firefox Start Page, a customised Google search page with tips about Firefox and links to more information about Mozilla and Firefox. This page appears when you open Firefox, click the house-shaped home icon on the toolbar or click the "Home" option in the History menu. If you've set a different home page, you can always get the Mozilla Firefox Start Page back by restoring the default home page.

Skill level:

  1. 1

Click the "Tools" menu at the top of the Mozilla Firefox window and click "Options."

  2. 2

Click the "Restore to Default" button under Home Page.

  3. 3

    Click "OK."

Tips and warnings

  • You can also type "" into the "Home Page" box instead of clicking the "Restore to Default" button.
