"Dragonball Z: Infinite World" for the PlayStation 2 is a fast-paced fighting game that follows the progression of the popular television series. At certain points in the game, your character will fuse together with another character, creating a new, extremely powerful individual. Sometimes the character King Kai will give you a capsule item called the Portara Earrings which automatically fuse the characters Vegeta and Goku to create the character Gogeta. This item is given to you automatically in order to progress through the game, but there is another way to use the fusion technique.

  1. 1

Purchase the fusion capsule from the item shop. It will cost you 60,000 zenny, so if you wish to buy the capsule, you're going to have to save up.

  2. 2

Equip the fusion capsule by going into the "Skills" list located between "Shop" and "Mission" in the pre-mission menu and pressing "X" on the capsule.

  3. 3

Press and hold "X" and press down on the directional pad twice to use the capsule.

  4. 4

Input the correct button combination as it appears on the screen. If you type in the code incorrectly, the fused character will come out fat and will separate. If done correctly, the character will appear slim with the combined features of the two characters you fused together. The characters won't stay fused forever so attack quickly before the fusion time runs out.

Tips and warnings

  • While the fusion capsule can be reused multiple times, you can't fuse every character together. The only characters you can fuse together are Goku with Vegeta and Trunks with Gohan.
