The 2012 Fiat 500 comes equipped with many optional features, such as colours, vinyl stickers, chrome additions, bumpers, side skirts, rims, and more. You can design the Fiat 500 by choosing different features suited to your own preference.

Turn on your computer and log onto your Web browser.
Go to the Fiat 500 website and find the "Configuration 500" design tool.
Left-click on "Skip Intro" at the bottom right corner of the website. This will reveal a 3D image of the 2012 Fiat 500 with a white paint job.
Left-click on the white ball displayed at the left side of the website to access the design menu that features numerous exterior, interior, and engine options for your Fiat 500. The menu will be in Italian, but you can change the words to English by left-clicking on "Videoconfigurator500C" at the bottom of the menu, left-click to skip the intro, then left-click on "Videoconfigurator500" at the bottom of the menu, and left-click to skip the intro once again.
Left-click on the exterior link that reads "Colors," then left-click on your preferred colour for the paint job of your Fiat 500.
Left-click on "Wheels" to select your preferred set of rims, then left-click on "Roofs" to select the way you want the roof to appear.
Add vinyl stickers to your 500 by left-clicking on "Sticker and badges," then select your preferred stickers.
Equip your Fiat 500 with a spoiler, front lip, side skirts, or custom rear bumper with the "Sportiness" link. To install a body kit, select all of the "Sportiness" options for the Fiat 500's exterior.
Left-click on "Vintage" to install a chrome bumper bar or a chrome bonnet stripe, then left-click on "Chrome details" to add chrome to the 500's mirrors.
Choose the window tint of your 500 by left clicking on "Style," under the exterior menu.
Install rear aluminium bars and change the colour of the Fiat's mirrors by left-clicking on the "Comfort" option of the exterior menu.
Choose the type of engine you would like for your Fiat 500 by selecting "Engines." Available engines include gas, diesel, and Fiat's TwinAir and Multijet engines.
Customise the interior by selecting your preferred type and colour of seats under the "Upholstery" option.
Add a leather steering wheel and shift knob, then choose a custom Fiat key fob under the "Style" option button, found at the interior side of the design menu.
Install interior trims and instrument panels under the "Sportiness" and "Comfort" option links of the interior menu.
Left-click on "Tell a Friend" on the design menu to save your preferred Fiat 500 designs and e-mail them to a friend or to yourself.
Visit a Fiat dealership to notify the dealer of your designs and discuss purchase options.
