How do I Delete iPhone Browsing History?

Updated March 23, 2017

All iPhone models come equipped with Safari Internet browser. Use the application to view web pages; many companies have begun to create mobile sites specifically for mobile phone users, though you can also view full web pages in Safari for iPhone. The phone only stores browsing history for the last five days your web browser was accessed. You can either delete your entire web search history, or just the history from a specific day.

Click the "Safari" icon on your iPhone's home page.

Tap the "Bookmarks" icon from the bottom toolbar. The icon is the second from the right and looks like an open book.

Select "History," the top option in the "Bookmarks" menu.

Tap the "Clear" icon in the bottom left of the screen to delete the entire history. Alternatively, you can tap on one of the dates listed to only erase information from that particular day. After the day's history opens, select "Clear" in the bottom left corner of the screen.

Tap the red "Clear History" button on the next page to confirm that you want to delete the history.
