Updated April 17, 2017

The Dreambox Control Center (DCC) is a freeware application created by an independent software developer named BernyR. It can be used to control and manage a Dreambox DVB satellite receiver via your computer. The application allows you to create playlists, download recordings to the computer and backup other types of data from your Dreambox receiver to your computer. The process of setting up the Dreambox Control Center is fairly straightforward.

Plug the USB cable connector into the USB port on the back of the Dreambox receiver, then plug the other end of the cable into an available USB port on your computer.

Double-click the Dreambox Control Center icon on your computer to launch the application. The application will automatically detect the receiver.

Click the "Search" button the Computer icon. A dialogue box will open with the IP addresses available for your network. Select your IP address from the list then click "OK." If you don't know your computer's IP address see the Resources section for assistance.

Click the "Search" button under the router icon, then select your IP address from the dialogue box.
