Reinstalling Windows 7 on your Toshiba laptop is a great way to clean up the computer. Reinstalling Windows 7 and restoring your machine to its factory settings replaces missing system files and removes tough-to-get-rid-of viruses from the hard drive. Reinstalling Windows 7 on your Toshiba laptop is also a good way to take inventory of programs and files installed, and stored on your computer, and to get rid of any programs or files you no longer need. You can use the built-in recovery partition on the hard drive, or a recovery disc set or USB flash drive you've created with the recovery and reinstallation files.
